Gain sufficient knowledge in how to handle food in a safe way and achieve a nationally recognised Food Hygiene qualification to work in a food related business. This is a two day course. To gain the qualification, you MUST attend both sessions.

What can students expect?

Gain sufficient knowledge in how to handle food in a safe way and a Food Hygiene nationally recognised qualification to work in a food related business. This is a two day course. You will take a multi choice exam on the second day; these are sent away for marking and results sent back to candidates in due course.

Late starters allowed?

No, in order to gain the qualification you will need to attend all sessions on both days.

Literacy, Language and Numeracy skills required

You will need to understand both written and verbal information and instructions in English and be able to complete simple calculations. The tutor will explain any specialist terms used.

Notepaper, pen and pencil.
