Description

Learn how to get online, surf the internet, search for topics. You will be able to register with online recruitment agencies and look for vacancies online. Learn how to set up an email account, how to choose a sensible email address and a secure password. You will learn how to send and reply to messages and how to attach a file to a message. An ideal course if you have never used a computer or the internet.

What can students expect?

You will be able to get online, search for topics that interest you and register for online recruitment agencies and look for and apply for jobs. You will leave with your own email address and account and be confident in using it to send and reply to messages as well as using the address book. Etiquette and security will also be covered. You will learn how to delete unwanted messages and use the address book/contact list to store frequently used email addresses.

Late starters allowed?

No, short intensive course.

You will need to be able to communicate in fluent English with the tutor and other students. You will need to take part in discussions, complete tasks, and follow verbal and written instructions. You will need to be able to work independently.
