Description

Going to Spain on holiday? Would you like to gain, or refresh your knowledge and practise essential language before your trip? On this course you will be able to learn or revise simple structures and topics to improve your confidence in using Spanish and add to your knowledge.

What can students expect?

By the end of the course, you will be able to take part in basic exchanges, using a limited range of words and expressions and basic correct grammatical structures sufficient for survival in the target country in tourist and everyday situations, such as using greetings and exchanging basic information about yourself, order food and drinks and shop for basic items, follow directions, and participate in very short dialogues about everyday subjects (the weather, food and drinks, travel and directions, hobbies, etc)

Literacy, Language and Numeracy skills required

Language and literacy skills at least equivalent to those taught in the target language. Existing basic vocabulary and grammar may be reinforced as part of language learning in target language. Basic numeracy at least equivalent to those taught in the target language (count to 1000, basic maths calculations)

This is a non-accredited course. You will be assessed informally by your tutor during classroom activities. There will be regular opportunities to review your progress. This is a non-accredited course.
