Measuring the CosmosThis short course will examine the scale of our universe and what it is made of. In addition it will examine the current theories surrounding the birth and death of the universe.
Practical AstronomyThis short course will examine how to observe the heavens and how to use instruments to take photographs of the sky. There will be an opportunity to observe and photograph the sky using binoculars and telescopes supplied by the tutor.
Wonders of the Winter SkyAn introduction for those with no knowledge of astronomy, covering stars, constellations, planets and other celestial objects visible in the winter skies. An opportunity to observe with telescopes and binoculars.
