This course aims to

Learn how to draw and paint animals from photographs or†pictures. The course is for anyone who wants to draw or paint their pet or other favourite animal but hasn't had the time or confidence to do so. The course will cover shape, gesture and using colour to help bring your animals to life on paper. You will be guided through colour mixing, creating textures and how to get a likeness and character of the animal. We will use a variety of media including pencils and watercolour. The course will provide opportunities to draw and paint live animals (if agreeable with the class) and include a visit to The Booth Museum.
