Contemporary Flower DesignLearn the basic techniques and principles of flower arranging. The tutor will provide information and give demonstrations on the care of flowers. Learners will gain practical experience of arranging a variety of floral designs. You will be required to bring flowers to all your sessions.
Fun With FabricThis course is designed for learners to have fun with fabric and make items such as a patchwork quilt, a fabric basket, hand bag, a changing mat, a child's toy or on any other projects you would like to work on.
Sewing (Beginners)Gain confidence in using a sewing machine and being able to cut and sew a simple top. Learners will be encouraged to progress to further sewing courses. Learners will be working towards accreditation. The course will be FREE to learners with below L2 qualifications.
Sewing And Soft FurnishingLearners can develop existing skills in dressmaking or soft furnishings. Students will need weekly use of their own safety-checked sewing machine. The maintenance of the sewing machine is the owner's responsibility. For further information contact Sally on 01344 882 528.
Show Me How To Paint Some More!Following on from the beginners course we will complete themed projects within the group and as you gain in confidence continue with help on with your own projects and learn to find your own style. You can choose to use any medium including acrylics, collage, watercolour or drawing.
Watercolours For BeginnersLearn the basics of watercolour painting including techniques and colour mixing. You will be able to complete a simple project by the end of the course.
