What the course is about

This interesting Step 3 course will build upon the skills learnt in the Intermediate – Step 2 course and

reinforce them in a fun and friendly class atmosphere.

The topics covered may include:

· Future 2

· Adverbs

· Advanced use of prepositions

· Reported speech

· Discussing history (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)

· Discussing music

· Discussing literature (continued from Step 2)

Practice at home will be necessary in order to enhance your learning experience.

This course is subsidised by Government funding so you should aim to attend the whole course.

Assessment of progress, tests, exams

Your tutor will work with you to develop an Individual Learning Plan and review your progress against this throughout the length of the course.

There is no qualification or examination attached to this course.

Who the course is for / Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications

You will have completed the beginners courses (or equivalent) and have a sound basic knowledge of the language including simple past, present and future tenses.
You should be confident in speaking the language and taking part in group discussions and activities.
Ideally you would also have completed the German Intermediate – Step 2 course.

You will need a notebook and pen.
