Description

Learn how to make your own copper and silver jewellery using traditional techniques to cut, file, solder, texture, form and finish. No experience required. Shared equipment, some core materials and initial copper are covered by the course fee. Students will need to purchase their own silver, with guidance from the tutor.

What can students expect?

To gain a practical understanding of copper & silver jewellery making.
To create at least one ring and pendant using wire and sheet metal.

An apron to protect clothing, a sketchbook/notebook and pencil will be useful.

Yes. A small quantity of copper is provided, afterwards students need to purchase their own copper & silver tutor guidance provided.
