EN-US;mso-bidi-language:AR-SA">On the first day you will familiarise yourself
with individual objects or simple compositions by measuring them using ‘rule of
thumb’ techniques and learning how to draw ellipses. You can choose to develop
drawings using pencil and tone, chalk and charcoal, or white chalk on a black
ground. On the second day you will look at how to render ‘the materiality of
objects’ in colour. Learners can create their own compositions to work from and
learn how to match and mix colour; how to blend pastels to create effects; and
how to create more definition using water soluble crayons. The aim of the
course is to build confidence, give positive feedback, and for students to
enjoy the process of drawing.<b><span style="color: rgb(49, 49, 49); letter-spacing: 0.1pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">&nbsp;</span></b></span><p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif;
