What can students expect?
<p>This is an easy and fun introduction to stained-glass; you will learn all the stages involved in making a simple copperfoil piece. You will design and make a beautiful stained-glass dragonfly or butterfly light catcher to hang in your window, or even to gift a loved one. Fee includes workshop sundries; students will need to purchase coloured glass and additional solder from tutor approximate cost between £12- £14. This course will be delivered at Stoke Lodge.</p>

What is the progression route?
<p>You could join the Wednesday weekly Stained-glass Workshop to develop your skills or even join the Summer School.</p>
Are there any extra costs?
<p>Yes. You will need to purchase your coloured glass and additional solder from your tutor on the day, approximate cost between £12- £14 (please bring cash on the day). <br />
Fee includes workshop sundries (e.g. paper, masking tape, tracing paper, glass cleaner, copperfoil, 2 strips of K grade solder, fluxes, patinas, etc).</p>

• Two or three different ideas- these could be pictures, original doodles or sketches of dragonfly or butterflies or any other idea you want to make as a simple decoration. The tutor will have some template ideas<br />

<p>We have all the equipment you need to get started. The tutor can advise you if you choose to purchase any of your own equipment for the future.</p>
