Deadline for enrolment: 1 week before the course takes place.

What can students expect?

To learn the creative potential of willow, how to source it, how to prepare it, the different types and what works best for what project.
Using wet strength tissue to create a lantern to celebrate nature.
How to weave various Christmas decorations out of willow.
Aimed at beginners or improvers and full of inspiring ideas to celebrate the beauty of nature around your home. This is a practical class.

This course will be delivered at Stoke Lodge.

Further willow workshops to develop skills in all aspects of willow weaving.

Materials Fee £20; secateurs, stanley knife, old clothing or an apron, as willow is bent and shaped against the body and this can sometimes be messy.
