Drawing - Absolute Beginners

Ever wanted to learn how to draw? This course is for you! Led by experienced tutors, you will learn to draw using pencil, charcoal and rubbers. The course will be delivered at Stoke Lodge but will move online if necessary. The online platform used will be Zoom.

Drawing Skills - Mixed Ability

Weekly exercises and projects to develop confidence with pencil and charcoal. The course will be delivered at Stoke Lodge but will move online if necessary. The online platforms used will be Zoom and WhatsApp.

Drawing Techniques Summer School 2021

The focus will be Elements of Landscape-different styles of drawing; mark making for sketching; simple techniques to draw trees; colour mixing and matching for skies; composition and arial perspective for spatial depth. We will work both inside and outside.

Life Drawing - Mixed Ability

Drawing from a nude model, you will learn to see shape, proportion, light and shade more objectively. Model fee of £27 for the course to be paid to the tutor during first session. The course will be delivered at Stoke Lodge but will move online if necessary. The online platform used will be Zoom

Oil Painting - Mixed Ability

Led by an experienced tutor, beginners will be guided through traditional methods of using oil paints, while those with some experience will be encouraged to develop existing skills. The course will be delivered at Stoke Lodge but will move online if necessary using Zoom and WhatsApp

Try a number of media & techniques in a friendly, all ability group. This course is a mixture of painting and drawing projects led by an experienced tutor offering flexible, individual tuition. The course will be delivered at Stoke Lodge but will move online if necessary using Zoom and WhatsApp.

Space for Creativity: Acrylics, Watercolour and Drawing

This course is suitable for experienced artists/students who would like opportunities to receive feedback and discuss their work with an experienced and supportive mentor. This course will be delivered both online and will include 1 hour individual tutorial face to face (time to be arranged).
