This course aims to

Comic diaries are a unique and accessible way of documenting life, metaphorically or literally.  This course offers the opportunity to explore this diverse world.  Through discussion and practise we will look at how we may express the everyday, the observational and emotional responses in comic form. This course supports students as they plan and draw a short story comic of between 4 to 16 pages long. From initial idea through to a finished comic, students will be encouraged to develop their unique creative voice through planning, layout and final render.

Who is this course is for?

Previous drawing experience helpful, but not necessary.
