Beginners course on basic techniques of Doodle Art to create, enjoy and relax. This course is available to mental health service users only who have completed a Stepping Stones course in the last two years.

What the course is about

A course where you will learn to translate complex shapes into simple line drawings using logic and creativity. Doodle Art helps to reduce anxiety, improves focus and boosts memory.
This class will help you to communicate your emotions or thoughts in a visual language and release stress.

Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications


No previous experience required but you will asked to read and consent to our online learning guidance

Materials required

A device that can access the Internet: A smartphone, IPad or computer with Wi-Fi internet access for Zoom video calling to view the tutor teaching a live class.
Paper, pencil, eraser, fine tip black pen, colours (any medium).

Assessments, tests, exams


Each learner will complete an evaluation with the tutor at the start and end of the course.

At the end of the course


Learners will have the opportunity to share with us your thoughts on what you enjoyed and any improvements we could make.

We will continue to offer Stepping Stones courses including an Intermediate course. There are also Learn Harrow courses available.

Assessment Method
