What the course is about
You will develop the skills you have already learned from the intermediate course where you looked at whole compositions ranging from still life to landscape. During this course you will look at producing larger scale works from the same subjects but be encouraged to take more independent responsibility in your own fine art practice. You will gain confidence in using both tablet and tubed watercolour paint materials. Take part in group discussions. Have access to one to one support. The overall aim is to help you discover and develop your abilities through a mixture of practice, discussion and demonstration techniques.
Previous experience, knowledge or qualifications
This course is for those who have attended the Watercooler Intermediate course and wish to further develop their fine art skills

Learners will be able to continue to support their learning by enrolling onto courses to increase their skills in the workplace, take a functional skills assessment to gain further qualifications in Maths, English and ICT or enjoy another arts & crafts, practical skills or movement, health and well-being courses and workshops
Equipment Required
Computer, iPad or iPhone with microphone and camera
Please have with you whatever Watercolour painting materials you may already have purchased, or an A4 Watercolour sketchpad, Watercolour paints and brushes soft grade of pencils (HB, 2B, 4B), soft rubber and sharpener for the first session. Materials and resources, you will need through the course will be discussed at induction.
