What the course is about
<p>Good food safety and hygiene are the backbone of a well-run kitchen. Learning how to prepare food safely will not only help you as a catering professional, but will also enhance the reputation of your business and improve customer experience.</p>
<p>This qualification covers the principles of food hygiene for food handlers working in either a catering or retail environment, as well as to obtain a knowledge and understanding of the importance of food hygiene, associated food safety hazards, good hygiene practice, and controls based upon an awareness of food safety management systems.</p>

<p>You must bring photographic ID on the day of the course and you will be asked for your National Insurance number so please bring this with you.</p>
