What the course is about

During this course you will receive both group and individual support in order to help you learn more about making a traditional wreath. All our courses are made up of elements of speaking & listening, reading and writing, and you will work using these elements throughout the course. This workshop will inspire you to explore a number of different designs of wreath, from the traditional to the quirky, with support from its professional and experienced tutor. You will be shown how to design and then make a wreath suitable for you to display over the Festive Season. If you have any accessories that you would like to include in the design, please bring them along. The varieties of wreath include a bauble wreath, a ribbon wreath and a flower and foliage natural wreath, using base rings of many styles, according to the methods of fixing. Learning takes place in a friendly classroom setting, which is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people. This course offers an avenue for creative pursuits, improving your health, confidence and wellbeing. This course is subsidised by Government funding so you should aim to attend the whole course.
